Charlie Chaplin

Many of us heard about this great actor, many are familiar with the tramp character he used to act and many more can recognize his image in an instant...

Charlie Chaplin - the tramp

However, as time goes by, increasingly fewer people are actually watching his movies. Flashy special effects used in modern day cinematography are driving people's attention further and further away from classic films and Chaplin's masterpieces are gradually forgotten.

In a minor effort to prevent this from happening, I'd like to bring to your attention three of his movies which he released through the "United Artists" film studio in 1931, 1936 and 1940. Click the images below to read more about them.

For the atmosphere they create, for the dramatic stories they tell in a comical fashion and for the message of hope they convey, I promise they're worth seeing. Do get hold of them as soon as you can, have fun watching and tell me your opinion afterwards if you feel like it.
